There is no universal submit button that gets a page into every AI model immediately. Why there is no single submission process
Each AI provider builds and runs its own crawler on its own schedule. Some rely mostly on periodic training crawls, others do live web search. There is no shared, universal system for telling all of them at once that a page changed, the way there sort of is for classic search engines.
What actually speeds things up
- Submit your sitemap to IndexNow, a protocol some search and AI adjacent crawlers support for faster discovery of new or changed pages
- Keep your XML sitemap current and accurate, since crawlers use it to find what changed
- Keep your llms.txt file updated with your most important current pages, so any model that reads it gets your latest information immediately rather than waiting for a full crawl
- Make sure nothing is accidentally blocking AI crawlers in robots.txt or at the hosting level
Set realistic expectations
Even with all of this done well, changes can take time to show up in a model's answers, especially for tools that rely on periodic training rather than live search. Consistency over time matters more than trying to force an immediate update.
